    The lifecycle

From “we are running low” to “it is on the shelf.”

One record follows every item through requesting, approval, receiving, storage, checkout and audit. Pick a stage to see it.

    Request

A technician sees low stock and raises a request.

    • One request is one item from one vendor, so approvals stay simple.
    • Set quantity, pricing, grant ID, requisition number or mark it urgent.

    What it fixes

Six everyday lab problems, solved at the source.

    01

    Expired reagent on the bench

TodayOlder lots hide behind newer deliveries, and nobody notices until a run fails or a lot is thrown away.

With J-QuantifyCheckout always offers the soonest-expiring batch first, and expiry dates are visible on every row.

    Less waste, fewer failed runs
    02

    Stock-outs mid-run

TodayA critical reagent runs out during a busy week because nobody was watching the count.

With J-QuantifyReorder and critical levels trigger real-time alerts, and recurring requests can be automated.

    Buy before it hurts
    03

    Approvals lost in email

TodayPurchase requests live in inboxes and chat threads, and nobody knows what was approved.

With J-QuantifyA single lifecycle: requested, approved, ordered, received, with the PO and grant on the record.

    One place for every request
    04

    Where did we put it?

TodayStaff open three freezers to find one box, and counts drift away from reality.

With J-QuantifyLocations and sub-locations with a row and column grid show exactly where a batch sits.

    Find it in seconds
    05

    Who used what, and when?

TodayUsage is a guess, so costs and lot traces cannot be reconstructed.

With J-QuantifyEvery checkout and consumption is logged with item, quantity, cost and user.

    Traceable to the lot
    06

    Audit week panic

TodayAn inspector asks who changed a critical level, and the answer lives in someone’s memory.

With J-QuantifyA human-readable audit trail with a reason for every update, filtered in seconds.

    Stock levels and alerts

Drag the remaining quantity. Reorder level is 12 and critical level is 5.

    First-expired, first-out

Check out one unit at a time. The soonest-expiring lot is always used first.

Lot L2231 expires first, so it is used first.

      Panel consumption

A lipid panel is mapped to three items. Run it, and every item is deducted for you.

        0 runs so far.

        Who can do what

Pick a role. Defaults are shown; every role can be edited.

          Open by design

One inventory, connected to every system in your lab.

J-Quantify exposes a REST API so your LIS, LIMS, EMR, EHR and instruments can talk to it. Tests run in one system, and stock updates in another, with nobody retyping anything.

          Built to connect

Part of how your lab already works.

Barcodes at the bench, an API for your instruments, and panels that record consumption for you.

Connects to LIS, LIMS, EMR and EHR

A REST API lets your clinical and laboratory systems record usage and read stock without double entry.

          Barcode labels

Generate printable 4x2 inch labels and PDFs. Item type prefixes keep codes consistent.

          Panel consumption

Running a test panel deducts every mapped reagent in the right quantity, with no line-by-line entry.

          Multi-laboratory tenancy

Each user belongs to a laboratory, and every record is scoped to it.

          Alerts and recurring orders

Real-time stock alerts and automated recurring purchase requests.

          Import and export

Export request lists to CSV and import panels with row-level error reports.

          Security

Controlled access and a trail for every change

Every person sees only what their role and laboratory allow, and every create, update and delete is recorded.

Jeevaysoft is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified and every member of our team is HIPAA trained. Compliance documentation is available on request.

          Role-based access

Permissions are bundled into roles and combined per user, so access stays consistent as staff change.

          Laboratory scoping

Users see and edit only the records that belong to their laboratory.

          Human-readable audit log

Who changed what, when, and why, for every create, update and delete.

          Reason for update

Edits to items require a reason, so the trail explains itself.

          Instant deactivation

Suspend a leaver’s access without losing their history.

          SaaS, hosted for you

We host and maintain the platform so your team can focus on the bench.

          Questions

          Before you book a demo

          What is J-Quantify?

J-Quantify is our laboratory inventory management product, part of the J-Inventory suite. It tracks supplies and equipment from purchase request to receiving, storage, checkout, consumption and audit.

Can several laboratories use one system?

Yes. Every user belongs to a laboratory and all items, orders and users are scoped to it, so each site stays separate while one organization manages them together.

How does it prevent expired stock being used?

Each batch carries its expiry date, and checkout offers the soonest-expiring stock first (FEFO). Expiry shows on the item list so near-dated stock is easy to spot.

Can it connect to our LIS, LIMS, EMR or EHR?

Yes. J-Quantify has a REST API and a panels API, so laboratory and clinical systems such as LIS, LIMS, EMR and EHR, and instruments, can record consumption and read stock automatically. We work out the connection with you during onboarding.

          Who can approve purchases?

You decide. Permissions are grouped into roles, so you can let technicians raise requests while only managers approve them.

Is it SaaS, and who runs it?

Yes. J-Quantify is delivered as SaaS and we host and maintain it for you. Book a demo and we will walk through it with your own catalog in mind.

          The result

Every reagent, rack and request accounted for.

Give your laboratory one controlled system for stock, requests and compliance.
